The word personal sounds straightforward, college websites say “tell us who you are,” and students are told there’s no wrong answer, but this document is often the most misunderstood by students.

Students are often encouraged to vary their second essays from their personal statements. Some write academic essays; others pick the most creative essay choice. We will discuss the best strategy for you.

Student documents are reviewed in an individual conference with Professors, and students practice interview techniques for an individual and group interview.
